These market share findings were sourced from StatCounter GlobalStat. Qreuz pulled six of the most popular browsers appearing in some or all of the countries named above and compiled the results in one graph, as seen below.

Chrome
- In Russia, 57.66% of people use Chrome.
- The market share of Chrome in Germany is 51.23%.
- 49.22% of people in the U.K. go for Chrome.
- 48.14% of the Japanese market uses Chrome as their internet browser.
- Chrome holds 47.3% of the browser market in the U.S.
- In China, the market share of Chrome is 45.36%.
Safari
- Safari is the internet browser of choice for 35.56% of people in the U.S.
- In the U.K., 32.3% of the market share uses Safari.
- 30.77% of the market in Japan uses Safari.
- In Germany, 17.4% of people use Safari.
- 10.08% of people use Safari in Russia.
- 8.71% use it in China.
Firefox
- 13.24% of German people use Firefox.
- In Russia, Firefox holds 5.83%.
- 4.36% of the Japanese market goes to Firefox.
- In the U.S., they have 4.15%.
- 3.62% of users in the U.K. use Firefox as their browser.
- In China, Firefox has 3.02% of the internet browser market.
Microsoft Edge
- In Japan, Microsoft Edge has 6.12% of the market.
- Microsoft has 4.34% of the browser market in the U.S.
- 4.25% of the U.K. market goes for Microsoft Edge.
- In Germany, the market share of Microsoft Edge is 3.87.
- Microsoft Edge doesn’t hold any of the market share in Russia or China.
Samsung Internet
- 5.64% of the German market uses Samsung Internet as their browser.
- 4.56% of the U.K. market uses Samsung Internet.
- Samsung Internet holds 2.29% of the market share in the U.S.
- In Japan, Internet Samsung has 1.22% .
- Internet Samsung holds no market share in Russia or China.
Internet Explorer
- 5.22% of the Japanese market uses Internet Explorer.
- 2.66% of the U.S. market opts for Internet Explorer, too.
- Internet Explorer holds no market share in China, Russia, the U.K., or Germany.
