A 2020 U.S. survey on the expected online personalization of shopping experience, revealed that 36% of shoppers in this 2020 survey said they expected product recommendations either on the side or on the bottom of the retailer’s website.
Other expected personalizations include discounts for the specific items the shopper is browsing (32%) and size recommendations for the items the shopper is browsing (22%).
27% of the shoppers in this survey said that didn’t expect any level of personalization from retailers.
