In May, 2020 Qreuz collected statistics from 20 of the top-visited sites in Australia with call-to-action (CTA) buttons. These sites were ranked by Alexa, as of May 14th, 2020.
The study focused on three aspects of the CTAs; the shape, the wording and the color.
It was found that 85% of the CTAs in this study were rectangular with “soft” edges. 50% of the CTA buttons used the word “now”. The most popular color for CTA buttons in this study was blue, at 35%.
