As of September 2020, 41% of Millenials were still paying of credit card debt from the 2019 holiday season. Gen X had the second-highest lingering 2019 holiday season debt, at 38%. Finally, 24% of Baby boomers in this 2020 survey said they still had debt from the holiday season prior.
